400 pounds of cast iron proved to be a quite a feat. A heap of manpower, lots of ingenuity, a predawn run to San Francisco and back, two days and two new tubs later -- one of them actually made it into the master bath.
All the arches, wall openings, and modifications in the living room, dining room and hall-stairwell are complete. In our dining room the former bedroom door has been removed, framed, dry walled and mudded.
Lots of light and entertainment wiring. This weekend marked the addition of the recessed lighting in the family room - all on two dimmers! Additionally wires and provisioning for home theater surround sound have begun to be put in place.
The master bath has bee stripped down to its frame and wiring as well as expanded for our new bath and shower. The installation of new plumbing is underway with new windows and electrical next on the list.
